Handmade practice or display Dao

My 4 series Dao were made from reclaimed fir with cherry guards and various handles. They're what I see as average sized. Made for single person practice and or display. Clashing with other practice weapons could dent the blade and could (likely will) snap the guard.

This Dao was made from reclaimed fir and various woodshed scraps. One solid piece from blade to pommel. Weighted handle with reused automotive wheel weights for a more realistic balance. 

Finished with 100% Boiled Linseed Oil and a homemade pastewax made with the same Linseed Oil and Beeswax.
