Handmade practice or display Dao.

My 4 series Dao were made from reclaimed fir with cherry guards and various handles. They're what I see as average sized. Made for single person practice and or display. Clashing with other practice weapons could dent the blade and could (likely will) snap the guard

This dao was from reclaimed fir, plywood and reused automotive wheel weights which are in the handle to make a more realistic balance. One solid piece from blade to pommel. 

Finished with 100% Boiled Linseed Oil and a homemade pastewax made with the same Linseed Oil and Beeswax.
